I’ve always been fascinated by the nervous system and the plasticity of the mind-body connection and find myself continually seeking growth and new ways of being. I enjoy hitting the road without a plan, camping and exploring new places. Playfulness, a good belly laugh and spending time with friends in depth of connection are my simple pleasures. I feel most alive and present when I'm running, the blood pumping through my body and the quietening of my mind as I attune to my senses and surroundings. Being immersed in nature; watching the shifting colours and shapes and listening to the birds sing, is very comforting for me and I cherish the slow pace of my life living in the country.
I've been working with clients in health and wellness for 15 years, starting out as a Personal Trainer and then Pilates Instructor. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Neuroscience and Sport Science and then completed my Honours in Neuroscience. I have also worked in tertiary education for over 7 years, teaching at both the University of Western Australia and Monash University while collaborating on projects and publishing peer-reviewed papers in the field of trauma and chronic conditions. While completing my Physiotherapy Masters program, I worked in the Intensive Care Unit at Alfred Health. In 2023, I moved to the Northern Rivers region in NSW and have since been offering my Holistic Physiotherapy services.
